I've got nothing planned

Might do some live streaming later once I'm done with laundry.

I'll be monitoring the import of my PeerTube transfer to a new instance since Diode.zone is asking people to find new ones. @DavBot was kind enough to allow me to transfer to his PeerTube instance. So I started doing that yesterday. I've only got one channel moved so far. I'll hit you all up with the url once it's all moved over.

So that's my day. Fun!

I wouldn't normally do this but after two very bad experiences with Ed Napleton dealerships I wanted to make a PSA to people in the St. Louis, MO region:

Avoid Ed Napleton dealerships if you can. They are good at pulling a bait and switch, wasting a lot of your time in the process. With lots overflowing they are still trying to add a "pandemic market adjustment" of $2,000. I'd like to save people the time and frustration.

I've come across a few new cars (Fiat) in Missouri for around $20k, not something you see very often anymore. I'm debating whether to make the drive to look or not. Rates are still high but my credit union threw me a bone on financing, a couple points under national average. This car would be driven by me for 4 yrs then given to our daughter at 16, I think in long terms.

Has anyone seen any new cars for that price with an interest rate under 4%? I'd like to hear about it if so.

I worked 16 hours today while covering for a coworker. I'm getting too old for that shit. There will possibly be another long day tomorrow so I'm trying to relax, but the Tuxedo Gang want their trout dinner. Time to bring in the dogs and put out the cats, Yakety Yak don't talk back.

Trying to decide if I want continue to pay the $130 for the two years of Proton VPN service.

Then I remembered that Google is my ISP.

Like I said, just curious. I like to see how people handle their relationships with tech and their personal values. Everyone is conscious of what they are doing online, or should be.

You know my dislike of Apple. It wouldn't matter if Tim Cook brought me a new iPhone personally every day, I still wouldn't use their products.

Personally Mr Mayor, Google Fiber is no different from the AT&T Fiber I use or the Spectrum cable before it IMO. Everyone should use a VPN for their own protection.

My personal opinion is safeguard your data to protect your finances and use the best account security you can. Then enjoy your devices to the best of your ability. It's a lot less stressful.

Services that we used being hacked for our data is one of the biggest risks out there. We can't guarantee their security...

A social media friend group turned friendly gathering earlier this month when @jeanettepizzurro (Jette), @Rasta (Rasta), and I (Brian) met up to hang out. It was a great time with great friends and a bit surreal actually spending an evening telling stories and laughing together in person.

I have no problem admitting I use it to rip of Shakespeare's style but that's about it. There isn't a use for me yet that I've found beyond novelty.

Maybe one day there will be but until then I'm sticking to real drugs.

Girlfriend clipped a couple of nails on our dog and she hit some blood unknowingly.

We didn't notice it until he'd already tracked blood all over the hardwood floors and the kitchen rugs.

She's usually pretty good at clipping them.

Nicking the quick can happen. It's even easier on dogs with black nails. I have a powder just in case. Luckily Pixie has clear nails, Ajax and Maddy are both solid black.

I'm not sure if Canadian geese are protected but the city park isn't a good place to hunt them.
