EVERY Republican in the House voted -- despite zero evidence turned up after endless "investigations" by hyper-partisans -- to move the Biden impeachment "inquiry" forward.

Again, Slack (owned by Salesforce) is changing its look and feel. But this time users aren't allowed to stick with what's familiar and works just fine.

Software companies do this routinely.

It's as if the furniture dealer had the right to come into your home and rearrange everything -- but you weren't allowed to put things back where you liked them.

It's simple corporate arrogance, and the software business is absolutely brimming with it.

@RickiTarr Anyway I have a few but the one that comes to mind first is "hors d'oeuvres," which for a very long time I did not realize was the same word I would hear spoken about the little tasty treats at a party.

I don't know why people insist on using a French word when "appetizers" works just fine anyway. It almost seems like they do it on purpose just to confuse kids. ๐Ÿ˜†

I generally have found the trend towards "let's illustrate this blog post / new story with a Midjourney image" to be a little dreary ...

So many of the images tend towards "sci-fi hyperrealism" that it gets boring after a while

(And man, I'm someone who grew up on Omni magazine covers, so normally I'd love this stuff, lol)

But, I will say, the Midjourney illustrations for this Boing Boing post are total <chef's kiss>
