For those who like #sql, here's an sql that looks for the currently used spam-images per instance, limited by the last 3 hours and at least 10 hits.
I’ll use this as a blocklist for now. #mastoadmin #spam
Edit to clarify: It looks for a hash of the blurred pictures created by mastodon, so it actually looks for the pictures in a way, not hashtags.

Ich trinke einen weiteren Kaffee, belausche weiter den Nachbartisch und fühle mich bestätigt in der Überzeugung, dass alte, von sich selbst überzeugte Männer wesentlicher Teil des generellen Problems sind.
Da ist eine Mischung aus Mangel an Demut, Selbstreflektion und eine eher mässige Fähigkeit zum Nachdenken. Jedes Hirn in der eigenen Echokammer.

Guten Morgen, heute ist der jährliche „Tag der #Bibliothek‎en“.
Glücklicherweise ist es kein Sonntag: im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen öffentlichen Einrichtungen (Schwimmbad, Theater,…) dürfen Bibliotheken in den meisten Bundesländern sonntags nicht öffnen!

Das soll laut Koalitionsvertrag geändert werden, ist es aber bisher nicht.

Schaut heute bei Eurer #Bücherei vorbei, guckt, ob die heute etwas Besonderes macht und sagt etwas Nettes zu den BibliothekarInnen. Leise 🤭

So, here I have a new follower from #MastodonSocial named IncestMilfs.
They joined two days ago and are posting content that is pornographic under German law and now it is on my instance and my instance (which I am responsible for) makes it accessible to minors.
To be safer I have to at least silence mastodon.social if not defederate.
Two days. Mastodon.Social has no idea what they are doing anymore.

Gestern #Deichkind Konzert im #Westfalenpark in #dortmund, schön und heiß, #Wasser kostete umgerechnet €11 pro Liter, (kleine) Wasserflaschen mussten am Eingang geleert werden.

Außer mit den wenigen, eher unappetitlichen Waschbecken überfüllter Klos gab es keine Wasserstellen!

Sorry, aber das ist mindestens völlig bescheuert, wenn nicht bösartig.

Ist das mit @stadtdortmund so abgesprochen? Ist das okay für Deichkind? Kann ich mir irgendwie nicht vorstellen.

Hm, I used @Cloudguy as a reason to thoroughly clean up everything related to #amazon and to migrate some things to #iCloud #keychain just to find that password changes in iCloud-Keychain sometimes do not seem to stay but are overwritten (synced?) with the old password.
Even if I delete a specific account/password it just comes back after a while!

It seems I’ll stick to #1password for another few years, at least for the non-#webauthn set of logins.

Why do I #follow a massive number of people on #mastodon? Because my #instance is fairly #small!
I am trying to not only catch people I personally find interesting but to curate interesting people (and their topics) for the small number of friends sharing this instance.
It feels a little like having a small venue and I am trying to book interesting bands.
Mastodon has a fascinating dynamic!
