Just once, I want a political candidate to say, “If you call yourself ‘anti-woke’, fuck you, you’re an ignorant piece of shit and deserve nothing but misery.” I would vote for that person SO HARD, and then I’d get freaky with them until the break of dawn. (That is, if they’re down with it. It’s not really consent unless it’s enthusiastic consent!)

Fucking hell. The worst part is, hardly anyone in power is willing to call this out as disproportionate and morally reprehensible, especially in my country. It’s bipartisan too, one of the few policy areas where the two major parties are in lock step. There’s no voting us out of this.

The good news is, many Americans and people across the world recognize the injustice and are standing up for Gaza. I’m proud to stand with them. Enough is enough.

The only doctor that treats in western Canada has declined my referral, which was at the request of a cardiologist I waited to see for 5 months.

I can’t even with this country. I hate this medical system. I hate it. All of it. I’m so tired of having to be my own doctor/case manager. For f*cks sake.

I have a diagnosis, and I’m on a medication for treatment but was told to be followed by a specialist after I moved here 9 months ago.

How is this at all ethical?

When I posted about OpenAI’s newest generative AI model yesterday, I said it was going after creatives. This is not wild speculation on my part.

Consider this. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman runs in the same circles as many Hollywood moguls. Case in point? Here’s who showed up at last year’s Sun Valley Conference in Utah. Yep, Altman was there. So was David Zaslav of WB-Discovery and Brian Grazer. Not pictured or mentioned here is Bob Iger of Disney, but he was definitely there.
