Perhaps the world is not made. Perhaps nothing is made. A clock without a craftsman.
It’s too late. Always has been, always will be, too late.

Monitoring El Nino in a warming climate
"Scientists are developing a new way to classify El Niño in a warming climate as rising ocean temperatures make existing methods less effective. This research, led by a team of international scientists, may even shed light on why the atmosphere has struggled to respond to this year’s developing El Niño."

I can't help but think it is loading up and taking aim for Australia's Summer. Keeps pushing on, but then dips again. Parts of South America were having heatwaves in their Winter. Already having a minor heatwave on the southern east coast of Australia.

At a press conference on 11 Sept, Director General Rafael Grossi noted his concerns over ‘technical issues that are starting to arise’, appearing to suggest that some may be related to the long-term shutdown of the plant. The White House Military Office Army aide was on “Football” duty this morning for President Biden’s meeting with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at 10 Downing Street in London. The ~45-lb. satchel follows Biden 24/7, enabling him to authorize the use of any of our ~1,770 deployed nuclear weapons—up to 900 on alert—at any time.

Interesting snippet from a review by Churchill about Drucker's book 'The End of Economic Man'. Originally printed before the war.
"His proof, for example, that Russia and Germany must come together forgets the nationalism which has developed in Russia during the last twenty years and which would react very strongly against any new German domination of Russian life."

The difference is that power is the best energy source for submarines while for commercial & residential use it's just an expensive way to say no to Labor.

Australia has trouble maintaining submarines that can operate a few months. This is 6 months:
https://mastermariners.org.au/news-international/5459-vanguard-submarine-arrives-home-absolutely-caked-in-algae
Also: look at the cost difference between our costs and UK costs... We are being set up for nuclear power. That kid has been all over Murdoch's Sky and now Murdoch's ABC too. Look at the similarity between ALP costing of nuclear power and the submarine deal. Canada is estimating 60 billion for 12 subs.
