Anyone know how to fix adding a website to your Home Screen on iOS then making you re login to that site every time instead of saving it? I think I had this problem with a Misskey instance before and I think I solved it but I forget how or if I really did lol. Currently happening with a glitch soc instance.

The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is that the cookies from logging in aren't being stored, or are being discarded

Can't say one way or the other if that's what's actually going on though

Opening up [Settings], selecting [Safari], and seeing if [Block All Cookies] is enabled or not is how you'd check as far as I know

Considering you said it's not affecting anything that's not added onto the home screen though, I doubt that it is enabled

I do know, through experience (at least with R3, ARKS Cafe, and Donphan), that any webpage added to the home screen as a web app doesn't share any saved login credentials with the main browser, so you'd need to login to the newly created web app on the home screen separate from the main browser

Website with light theme is now live!

You can either click on the text button at the top that says Light Theme, or, if you know the URL, you can append light.html to the specific page address (i.e. https://www.easthighnerd.net/light.html )

Whatever you decide to do, the theme will remain consistent across the whole website while browsing it!

If you use the light theme, and find a page on my website that reverts to the default dark theme while going from page to page via internal link, please let me know!

For anyone running on their laptops (or any computer with a wireless card I guess):

Would you be willing to share with me the name of the driver that is needed to get your wireless card to work?

I want to include all possibilities for my shell script that I use to install Debian with ZFS on root, but I don't want to just have it go and install every proprietary wireless card driver known to Tux

If you're unsure how to find out, running ethtool -i INTERFACE_NAME_HERE in the terminal is one way to do it

Any and all help (and boosts) is greatly appreciated!

Okay peoples, I need a bit of help here

I'm installing Debian 12 on a laptop, with ZFS as the root filesystem

Aside from having to manually import the root and boot pools on the first boot, every works fine

However, for some reason that I'm having trouble figuring out, the drivers/firmware for my wireless card, which are present and working in the live image, are seemingly not being installed onto the system by [debootstrap]

Card's not being picked up by [ip addr show] as a result, and it's throwing up [iwlwifi] error messages at boot saying that the firmware failed to load

Any help with this would be GREATLY appreciated!
