Aika villiä että joku yritys kokee että vammaisurheilijan tukeminen olisi haitaksi imagolle. Tietäisinpä mitkä yritykset ovat näitä vastauksia antaneet niin joku voisi näyttää niille mikä on imagohaitta.
"If Re-Elected, Trump Vows Fascist Regime from Day One
Interview with Jason Stanley, professor of philosophy at Yale University and author of “How Fascism Works: The Politics of Us and Them," conducted by Scott Harris"
Threatening Russia’s control of Crimea—and inflicting grave damage to its economy and society—will, of course, be difficult. But it is a more realistic strategy than the proposed alternative: a negotiated settlement while Putin is in office.
Putin has never agreed to respect Ukrainian sovereignty—and never will. If anything, Russia’s rhetoric about the war has become more annihilationist, invoking the Russian Orthodox Church and suggesting that the conflict is something like a holy war, with existential consequences.
Any negotiation in the current circumstances would at best leave Ukraine crippled, partitioned, and at the mercy of a second Russian invasion. At worst, it would eliminate the country altogether.
No sustainable, long-term peace can emerge from negotiations with an aggressor that has genocidal intent.
Ukraine and the West must either win or face devastating consequences.
(EXACTLY!)

I guess I’ll start preparing for a Trump victory. Not because I think the donald is doing good, but because what Biden is saying about #israel may cost him the election.
This latest dismissal of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in particular.
Liberals understand the importance of #ruleoflaw. And undermining that just out of hand with broad strokes and bravado.. Is just digging dirt from under everyone’s feet.
Trump is telling us exactly what he plans to do if he gets another term. He is framing his return to power as an authoritarian effort, and he is overtly using Nazi language and symbolism to drive home the point.
This wasn't a mistake. It isn't a joke. American freedom and democracy are on the line in 2024. The main headline in Trump's ad asks: "What's Next for America?" Trump's answer: authoritarianism and fascism.
@georgelakoff He is not stupid. I think this is a message to his ”brown shirts”, well in time to tell those who would engage in bullying and voter intimidation, that he’s their man.
OK, I submitted an abstract for kernel summit track: "TPM2 story so far...". It would be from the angle of thinking it more like a protocol or contract that all kinds of hardware and TEE's can speak than just a chip per se...
Not that motivated to travel, so not a huge disappointment if not accepted :-) But yeah I have an angle and will prepare that one properly if accepted. So done my duty I guess at least...
They are completely missing the point of their product. #ChatGPT and other #ai#chatbots are not our friend, and we don’t want them to be!
(If you spend a lot of time „talking to“ chatbots, please go outside where people are. Seriously!)
It is a tool we use for super annoying tasks —write an ALT-tag for an image, fix my shell script, translate something. And we still have to double check everything it does. We can’t and we won’t trust it. (1/2)
@bart Greatly appreciated, but should you consider investing some of that for funding political campaigns to make the AI giants pay up for their training data?
Another alternative that might actually have better chance of success is developing protocols of strong human verification.
At least develop the platform in a way that requires strong proof of humanness to transact anything.
@tg9541 Maybe. But not paying attention to such things does tell of the psychology of people involved:
If we calculate the odds of nobody noticing this resemblance at SpaceX, I would say those simply have to be quite low.
Therefore, there’s a reasonably high probability that those who did see it were afraid to say it out loud, didn’t care, or were not motivated to do anything about it.
Economic anxieties always serve to push a lot of those who would be tolerant otherwise to the hate camp, because the general higher ”threat level” presupposes the mind to interpret non-dangerous signals as potential threats, too.
Conservatism is rooted fundamentally in observing the world primarily through threats. The clinging to hierarchies & strength is the coping mechanism, not the root cause.
