99.9% of jobs do not require urgency of any kind, really they don't. We've all had a boss who acts like someone will die if we don't hit some made up deadline by people who don't even do the job. No one needs their meal 1 minute faster or the paperwork before tomorrow morning. Your time off actually doesn't need to wait. Sometimes I think about how legitimately bad most businesses are at time management and hiring, and I wonder how they manage to exist at all.

@GottaLaff Dossier said Cohen traveled to Prague to coordinate w/Kremlin operatives for Trump campaign. Mueller concluded that no, Cohen did not. Mueller's source? Cohen's word.

Mueller never looked at phone records, passport, credit card charges. He never talked to the foreign intel agencies that picked up evidence Cohen was in Prague. Mueller just went with answer that best served his political party. Okay, this might sound weird, but this is what I'm thinking of today. I'm assuming most of you know the idiom, "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth." I know it's about looking at the horse's teeth to check it's age and health, but in my heart I have an alternate history where it's about The Trojan Horse, which doesn't really even make much sense, but it's still living there rent free.

So, does anyone else do this, make up alternate histories for words or phrases? If you do, I'd love examples!

Also, I find this tidbit in Guardian Trump story unsettling:

A suspected criminal with possible ties to the Russian mob runs a bank known for providing financial services to "porn industry." Russian org crime has a history of trafficking people & forcing them into sex work. Some turn up dead. And it's unclear why anyone in the "porn industry" couldn't just bank with a legit financial institution rather than one that operates opaquely offshore with less legal scrutiny.
