Isn't it a given that if a company is big enough it crushes all competition and does wildly illegal and damaging things to society? That is unless they buy enough politicians to change the laws. If history has taught us anything it is that unregulated capitalism tilts toward destruction and abuse. It seems wise to limit the size and power of these corporations in the nascent AI field.

I get frustrated with Dems, but it is usually about the fake Dems and leadership, especially if they are trying to be "bipartisan". That's over, wake up. There are so many Dems accomplishing great things. Elizabeth Warren, Sheldon Whitehouse, Bernie Sanders, Jon Ossoff, Ed Markey... What's interesting is that the percentage of Dem Senators rated progressive is more than Dem House members when you check this list. I had no idea!
