🚫 Removing orange from all colours palettes would seriously reduce contrast issues on the web.

(But I'm Dutch. And I've accepted orange as being part of my life. 🧡)

Parece que está funcionando! Ayer por la noche preparé un nuevo servidor en Hetzner (4 vCPU, 8GB RAM) y hoy hace un par de horas empecé a transferir todo.
Comprobaré un poco más, pero esto significa que mis costos para este servidor pasan de ser ~€70 a ~€20 por mes!

Lo que no me gusta de Telegram es que por defecto es menos seguro que WhatsApp: en Telegram la encriptación E2E se debe habilitar manualmente y no funciona en chats grupales.

would it be better in general if disabled elements on web pages did receive focus? Seems like such a huge difference in discoverability from the sighted experience

@joelanman I remember it being a recommendation for forms to not disable the submit button but to use ‘aria-disabled’ and display an error if clicked?

Argument being exactly that: discoverability. The disabled button is completely invisible to screen readers

I wanted to reduce the amount of apps I use for email. So I’ve been looking for apps to keep everything in a single place and it feels a bit bleak?

EVERYTHING is AI now. And it feels (a lot of the times) to be just an excuse to be able to charge a subscription instead of a one time payment.

Apple Mail, or even Outlook, seem like the best options out there. Canary Mail also looks alright. Even with its “AI Copilot” it at least seems to have a lifetime purchase.

Canary Mail seems to be the default recommendation for a third party client.

    @kimby es el problema en general del Fedi, tbf. Todo lo que publiques tiene potencial de distribuirse tanto que nunca podrá ser "eliminado"

    Parecido a la gente que toma screenshots de los tweets por si los usuarios los eliminan. Pero de forma automática.

    Am I right in thinking that Web Components built using Decorative Shadow DOM are less portable? I guess once you start writing your component with HTML it automatically means it's less portable (wistfully thinks of HTML imports)

    @DavidDarnes That’s what I kind of don’t get about SSR and web components. There’s things like lit-ssr, webc or enhance… but it always implies a compilation step and requires a NodeJS back-end to do so.
