I'm watching documentaries

The second one I'm watching now is about violence against women

I'm already having trouble watching the first few minutes, tears are welling up in my eyes

How can it be that we don't deal with this more often?
These women will suffer for a lifetime, struggle with the consequences and yet are only a marginal figure in the media

Every third day a woman is murdered in Germany, every third day, it breaks my heart

In der zweiten die ich jetzt schaue geht es um Gewalt an Frauen

Ich habe schon Probleme mir die ersten paar Minuten anzuschauen, da schießen mir die Tränen in die Augen

Wie kann es sein das wir das nicht öfter behandeln?
Diese Frauen werden ein Leben lang leiden, mit Auswirkungen kämpfen und sind doch nur eine Randfigur in den Medien

Jeden dritten Tag wird in Deutschland eine Frau ermordet, jeden dritten Tag, es bricht mir das Herz

Today, we have a scene from "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" (2000).

The sword thief Yu Jiao Long (Zhang Ziyi) against master fighter Yu Xiu Lian (Michelle Yeoh).

Usually, I despise most modern and Asian action films because of their disrespect for the laws of physics (e.g. flying people, super speed), but here these effects are sparse, and the focus is on the skills and the mind games between the two women, so I love it!

Two women engage in a duel. Lian is the superior fighter, but Yu Jiao wields the fabulous sword Green Destiny and is able to destroy each weapon that Lian wields, until Lian finally manages to defeat Yu Jiao with a broken sword.

Oft zu stark manche eingetrichterten Meinungen.

Zu borniert der Zwang immer noch sich über die Frau erheben zu müssen.

Wir sollten denen eine Hand geben die diesen Kampf gemeinsam mit uns führen wollen.

Wir dürfen uns nicht in eine Spirale zwängen lassen, geführt von "Idioten" die man wohl auf den Mond schießen sollte um sie los zu werden anstatt ihnen zuzuhören und sich beeinflussen zu lassen.

Ich weiß und lebe auch immer wieder, das es oft kulturelle Unterschiede gibt.

In einem Land wie Deutschland lebe ich und lerne jeden Tag viele Kulturen kennen.

In Griechenland habe ich vermittelt gekriegt das Frauen oft die "Macht" haben.
Griechische Männer beten ihre Frauen an, oft auf eine sehr interessante und liebevolle Art und Weise.

Das mit ehrlos da kann man eine ganz neue Diskussion machen
Bei uns fällt sie halt dann runter vom Podest...

Es hat auch viel wie ich vorher schrieb mit dem tiefen Respekt der Mutter zu tun, weißt du Griechen und ihre Mütter, ich glaube das kommt zum Teil daher.
Ich glaube auch jede Kultur hat da Unterschiede

Und doch sehe ich genau das auch hier, anders vielleicht aber doch irgendwie genau so
