We got back from #Disneyland a few days ago. Such a great trip! 🎉
No infections 👍 despite the constant chorus of coughing people around us, thanks to some basic precautions including good masks, Betadine & Enovid, good hygiene, and a toddler stroller PAPR.
Against popular advice and Los Angeles norms, we used public transit (Metrolink regional trains and LA Metro subway) to get from Disneyland to Univeral Studios Hollywood.
8/10. Would do it again.
The LA public transit system still needs improvements (like higher frequency), but it was way better than I expected.
#Holidayland is the lost land of #Disneyland, a 9-acre picnic area that opened in 1957 and closed in 1961 - but it had unique trash cans similar to #WDW's #StorybookCircus!
It's not often that a trash can blends into the setting better than a park bench, but that sure seems the case here in #Disneyland's #Frontierland (c.2011).

To nie tylko o tym konkretnym podcaście, ale o sytuacji ludzi, którzy nie rezygnują z potrzeby dobrych mediów (korzystania z nich lub ich robienia). Oraz o sytuacji ludzi, którzy chcieliby, żeby w Polsce istniało jakieś rzetelne medium na lewo od centrum.
👏 Brawo dla "Dwie Lewe Ręce" za rozmowę o Haiti. Bardzo dobrze, że redaktorzy najpierw przedstawili systemowe przyczyny obecnej sytuacji, solidnie uwzględniając historię i ekonomię polityczną, a dopiero potem opowiedzieli o bieżącym kryzysie humanitarnym i biedzie. To świetna kolejność, bo pomaga w zrozumieniu sytuacji. Polecam!
