Despite rumours of its demise, it would seem that still holds.

@ChrisMayLA6 Ah, scrolling my notifications and I only have to see an FT graph to know it's you 😂

@ChrisMayLA6 @fkamiah17 I think that producing an FT graph in poker would be such a surprise, it would just baffle everyone and you'd be fine.

It's frightening how little attention the US press has given to the continuing aftereffects of the British Library cyber attack. If it can happen there, it can happen almost anywhere.

@tgreyhavens In Ireland the entire public health system was disabled for a while by a cyberattack. Recovery was costly, far less than mitigation that would have prevented it. Such things are reported daily but complacency persists.

There are perfectly good remedies for ransomware, namely backups. Organisations that don't have proper backups don't have disaster recovery plans and are basically just 🤞and hoping for the best.

Just said in a meeting: “” in is code for “no one is for it, but if you do get hired you’re paid well”

@thac0 I did a few months’ work for a similarly-scoped outfit, “The Perl Shop”
