@massivelyop It’s not really that big of a deal but I feel sorry for them. The amount of work it takes to manage content on a live service game is astronomical (let alone cross platform).
(rant) It’s unbelievable that live service has become the primary games business model. It’s hilariously unsustainable. Don’t tell anyone but they’re all out there held together with glue and rubber bands and running on fumes and a prayer 🫣 especially the big ones.
@czottmann Almost 7 years of live service surely added up some clutter. They are trying to reduce the amount of currencies with the upcoming expansion.

The game does tell you this if you hover over their icons in the appearance customization screen, but it's kinda of hidden.
If you're spending this downtime to score some fashion, make sure you actually unlock some ornaments before reaching that cap. I'm pretty sure they don't stack anywhere else, they just get burned. Like I'm pretty sure I did a while ago.
Planning to switch to Linux as my daily driver now that gaming is in a better place. #Destiny2 still has no official #Linux support, though, and probably never will. Time to move on? Other ideas?
@ayeayerobot That's what a lot of people decide and just go one way or the other. If GPU pass through was easier, I'd suggest Virtual Machines, but that is a sinkhole of time that most people don't want to get into.
It's early yet, I haven't seen the loot system yet. I'm also not deeply steeped in DC or comics lore in general. Some people in the stream are snarking like “you know what suicide squad needed? Grapple hooks and jet packs.”
But isn't that what many characters use? Like a lot of their heroes are regular folks with gadgets, suits, and skills. 🤷🏻♂️
@InfiniteHench That is fascinating. We were recently attempting to see what would happen when two well-skating warlocks collided, but we weren’t able to get lined up right. I think this answers our question.
@swburk Ah, yeah not sure what's supposed to happen there. This case, of course, was a PvP setting in a Gambit match. I am quite impressed they built in-game mechanics for such an incredibly rare interaction. Claaassic #Bungie.
@thegamerstavern I'm trying to keep it away from me. I used to spend a lot of hours blasting in that game. One of my favourites of all time. Maybe is time to return? 😆... Bye social life!
@InfiniteHench Did you mean one of seven? You need to complete a full 7 matches to get an initial tank (and repeat the process each season). You should at that point get given a rank. But I only ever do comp now for the seasonal challenge, and didn't even bother with that last season.
@fnxweb Yeah, thanks for the catch. And I’m just making a dumb joke about being too good at comp, which I absolutely am not (have never done comp before and my KD is barely above 1.0)
