Yesterday I went to The Cité Internationale de la Tapisserie d'Aubusson in France. Aubusson tapestry is a six centuries old luxury product, a craftsmanship of excellence and local tradition, permanently renewed through contemporary creation.
Since 2020, the museum has produced five tapestries from Hayao Miyazaki's movies, with his approval. You have to see it to understand the beauty of the achievement.

I just re-watched "Howl's Moving Castle" because I had forgotten what exactly it was about. I nodded off towards the end, and I'm sure that in a few months I will once again be unable to recount the exact plot.
But it looks so gorgeous. I love the depiction of early 20th century European cities. The "airplanes" are a nod to Nausicaä or Laputa but are animated much more fluently. The quality holds up all the way to the end. But the plot just feels so obtuse to me.
This looks so good - a Pakistani hand-drawn animated film! Made by Mano Animation Studios and director Usman Riaz, it looks like a cross between a Cartoon Saloon and a Studio Ghibli film!

The post-credit scene of the final episode of The Weakest Tamer was such an animation treat. You might have missed it if you stopped at the credits.
It's set before Sora before it met Ivy. It is an entire Glibli-like sequence with fantastical animation and music where Sora tries watches some slimes gather, and other fellow slimes disintegrate.
I know this is a long shot, but Ghibli museum tickets are sold out online and can only be bought by residents/workers in certain cities. I'd like to take my high school friend and her daughter at the end of the month. Could anyone help buy them? #ghibli

Removed the saddle from the wolf, re-carved the mask, added a fur cloak, and filled various gaps.
The display base is entirely scratchbuilt, and includes Kodama.
And the whole thing was painted up to match stills from the film.
