I analyze 2934 projects and now I'm looking for names (and repositories) to reach 3000.

Can you help reach it?

I already have the top1000 Packagist, plugins from common frameworks/CMS, and a small array of 'download only' ones.

pronskiy,

@dseguy could you maybe share a gist with the full list? It would be easier to suggest then

@dseguy do you already added https://github.com/eureka-framework/ repositories ?

Very confidential in terms of usage, but should have a lot of code, mainly up to date, and maintained over the time :)

@velkuns I already have it, thanks to you. 😎

@dseguy How big/popular? I've got a half-dozen or so libraries on my GitHub you can scan, assuming you're not doing something nefarious with them. 🙂

@Crell Let me check that, 'prolific authors''s github is a good idea to source more code, indeed.

I use OSS code to check my SCA tool, and I also extract usage statistics for PHP as a whole. I'll be doing a 'PHP 8.2 features, one year later' article before we reach PHP 8.3, for example.

@dseguy These are the packages I'd recommend scanning then:

https://github.com/Crell/Tukio (v2 coming soon)
https://github.com/Crell/ApiProblem
https://github.com/Crell/Serde
https://github.com/Crell/AttributeUtils
https://github.com/Crell/fp
https://github.com/Crell/Planedo (Symfony app)

I know all of those have production users, although how many varies, of course.

@dseguy Actually the last one is mostly just a skeleton app for the PlanedoBundle package, which is where the actual code lives.

@dseguy I'd wonder if the https://github.com/composer/composer repo was among the list - I don't need the code, I download the .phar. Same for projects in https://github.com/packagist - I use the website, not the code. Then there are also the sites in PHP, like wikimedia of course, the Symfony & Laravel sites/doc-sites and other sites like https://github.com/joindin

@Alister ✅✅✅✅ I remember that composer and joind.in source code helped unearth some rare bugs.

@dseguy what are you specifically looking for?

dseguy,
@dseguy@phpc.social avatar

@wyri any code base that I don’t have yet. The bigger the better, but rarely mentioned application are the most important.

@dseguy @wyri https://github.com/RikudouSage/PhpScad If you want something a little exotic.
