@sirber I would rather work on a custom PHP framework than on a custom framework built using any other language, probably, but that's only because I'm more familiar with PHP than with other languages. The point is, if a company is building an in-house framework in 2024 they probably have no idea WTH they're doing.

• by not using a framework I don't mean not using any components that may be a part of one. just not a full-blown "off the shelf" framework.
