Had a quick early a.m. training sesh this morning.
I asked a question of the new baby nurses, and nobody answered, so I said,
"Bueller?"
No one answered, and then a little gal spoke up and said,
"We don't have anyone here by that name."
Please send wine and a headhunter to my hole in the ground.
@Skepticat I saw some ominous black clouds rolling in and remarked, "looks like The Nothing is coming." My 20something co-worker looked at me like I had a 3rd arm.
Bueller is a clinical sociopath. The faking the fatal disease thing is just the first giveaway - he's pathologically detached from the well-being of others.
It certainly taught me a lot about how people think! 😁
@Skepticat I told someone something was the same shade of green as the slime from 'You Can't Do That On Television' and then had to explain what I was talking about, while feeling my soul leave my decrepit geriatric body.

@Skepticat my kids are subjected to that movie on a regular basis. “I did not achieve this position in life by having some snot-nosed punk leave my cheese out in the wind.” Slays me every time.
