@Gargron now allow us to look at hashtag posts from other instances in the search (like #eurovision@mastodon.social) so we get to see more of the action!
@Whiskeyomega yes, but it could then fetch posts from others if specified. Most smaller instances will only see a tiny fraction of all the Eurovision posts.
@darth@Gargron I am the instance admin and no I don’t believe that is possible. It’s a limitation in the protocol. I’m not talking about text search, but being able to follow a hashtag from a specific server or servers. For global events that would be very useful.
