@LeftistLawyer Might I propose “the clever” as opposed to smart or stupid? Something about surviving requires an aptitude of adaptability. I have known some stupid survivors and some smart dead men. But what really matters with survivors is knowing how to gauge a situation and figuring out how to work with that.
