I have difficult relationships with Western #VietnamWarVeterans. Especially #Canadian ones who volunteered; weren't sent by CAF. I think most folks can understand why. Me & my family suffered from US led war on our peoples. I don't care how much you respect military veterans, if you can't understand the horrors inflicted upon #POCpeoples by peoples you consider military heroes in US & Canada. Your 'heroes' #murdered many of my innocent family & countless millions of others. We don't get support.
I'm unable to be kind to any #VietnamWar veteran from ANY Western countries, unless those same #WarVeterans have spoken up/out about their #WarCrimes & aiding/abetting foreign violence on our peoples.
Unless #VietnamWarVets have fully repented, are doing work to help the peoples they tried to mass murder over Westernized #propaganda - NONE of them deserve respect, in present day.
@jmcleod I wish more folks would understand it's like asking me to go shake hands with someone who murdered a loved one & expecting me to smile for PR photo op. I'd never be OK with that & neither would anyone else who still treasures their self worth & their ancestry.

@jmcleod@Fury#Australia actually used the US invasion & #disinformation program - they shared tactics on how to #dehumanize, torture, maim/disable our men, shared tactics on shooting pregnant women & killing kids(to stop them from growing up & joining resistance), sniper killing random citizens on street, trying to block humanitarian aid(thankfully they failed & Red Cross was there!). Countless rapes of our women. Mass war crimes by #USA & STILL NO #ACCOUNTABILITY!
I have solid relationships with former war vets from Vietnam & Middle East deployments. They're the ones who are disgusted by what they were ordered to do while in military. They're the veterans who are commited to spending the rest of their lives fighting against more war. They're the vets who don't try to glorify their horrific war experiences, denounce being called heroes & fight for peace. They became real heroes, post war, fighting for #humanity! These are the only #WarVets I fully respect.
I won't ever glorify war veterans who refuse to repent for their crimes against humanity. I refuse to respect any war veteran who tries to justify mass murders of my peoples in Vietnam. I don't respect ANY war veteran who isn't trying their best to repent from their services to evil wars & not OK with ppl trying to glorify mass murderers of my peoples.
I'll rip ppl apart, if they try bringing their idolized military BS into my arena.
Your war heroes are my family's mass murderers.
