If #Israel will bomb a convoy of vehicles with #WorldCentralKitchen logos visible from every conceivable angle during movements they coordinated with the #IDF & whose only crime was to feed people in #Gaza who'd otherwise starve, imagine what they're doing to everyone else there.
It wasn't that long ago that they killed one of the Israeli hostages that managed to escape from #HAMAS.
@randahl It's racism AND intentional, premeditated murders of aid workers(again). To scare off more aid workers off, so they can blaze on with genocide plans. It's also why they want to kick out Al Jazeera & other media outlets. They don't want any media documenting more of their genocide & war crimes.
Please use stronger language to express what is really happening, in future. Because soft language doesn't suffice for this level of pure evil.

Why create a Hamas? Maybe in hope of Oct. 7 type attacks giving Israel a blank check to wipe out the inconvenient Palestinian population once and for all? Bibi's actions seem in accord with such a plan.
@darnell@randahl it's not really fair to say Hamas was elected and implying the people there chose this since the last election was in 2006. I agree about Hamas being a terrorist organization, and agree they should release the hostages, but a lot of people getting killed and starved weren't even alive in 2006 and have had no say in what hamas is doing. Israel is out of control and needs to be stopped from committing even more war crimes.
@Jennifer@randahl That is the sad reality of the situation. As far as 30,000 death toll goes, I am skeptical about that stat for two reasons:
👉🏾 It is coming from Hamas’s health ministry who does not distinguish between combatants & non-combatants
👉🏾 We will not know the real death toll due to it being urban warfare, until most of the fighting subsides (the figure could be much higher)
I wish the civilians were temporarily evacuated beforehand, but I digress.

The current death toll is probably a guess, but it's not a guess to say many more people are about to die from lack of food because Israel has blocked all aid. I consider that a war crime. It's disgusting what they're doing, they are behaving no better than Hamas.

Hamas intentionally hides amongst civilians, along with their weapon depots & terrorist bases.
War is an ugly affair, & no country would tolerate the existence of a genocidal terrorist group at the expense of their own citizens. That is a political reality.

Civilian deaths will obviously be in the thousands, but until Hamas is destroyed or the hostages are returned the war will continue. That is reality.
@darnell@mycotropic@randahl it will be impossible to destroy Hamas, and every day this continues will only ensure there are more recruits. This is also making the US less secure because we'll be the target for supporting war crimes. I mean I'm not an expert in this, how should I know. I've long thought what's going on there is unsolvable because everyone involved is so resistant to compromise. But I want to withhold $ and weapons until Israel allows in unrestricted food and medical aid.
@randahl I was actually expecting a reaction along the lines of: "Gee, six international aid workers were killed, but since one of them was a Palestinian, they're collateral."
@paninid@randahl They've taken six months to erase 85 years of guilt from the west.
They've made deep enemies of Syria, Lebanon, and Iran, at least. They now have changed 1.9 Billion Muslims from disliking them to hating them to their core.
They're creating 100 ISIS and 1000 Hamas throughout the world.
They do seem to be working making enemies of all of their friends.
