@jennzycos You probably know this. In case you don't, adding #alt4me hashtag will bring your post to someone's attention and they'll add the alt text for you.

Or the FE developers could use/implement ‘some sorta’ AI so the Alt text is automatically generated?

It would be WONDERFUL if alt-text could be the product of cut and paste. I too get weary of retyping descriptions when I post reusable, still-relevant memes. Cut and paste doesn’t work for me now.

@cynblogger @jennzycos i use a OCR (optical character recognition) app on android to do most of the work on text-heavy images
Usually needs a bit of tidying up but saves lot of work

I would guess OCR is available on whatever device you use if that helps
