After all the smart-ness in #CaptivatingTheKing, I needed a #kdrama that didn't require any thinking. #ALoveSoBeautiful has the emotional and mental depth of an after-school special, and 20 minute episodes! Winning.
Except the ML is a total JERK to the FL. And the 2ML is thoughtful, supportive, considerate, kind, emotionally aware... exasperated sigh

Whoa-ho, swimmer dude is walking around with a giant ring for Soli?! Look, I don't like to criticize someone for being dumb, but Soli is dumb. Frustratingly so.
And women aren't a THING to COMPETE over ffs. It isn't a race! Gah.
Unexpressive smart dude is loved unconditionally by an ever-grinning, not smart or capable young woman who follows him around like a puppy waiting to get kicked again. For too short of a time, she comes to her senses, but (spoiler) not long enough.
A kind, handsome, charming, thoughtful, fun dude also loves her, but she prefers to be neglected and turns him down.
