Ever wake up thinking about a big band chart that you hadn’t listened to in a long, long time? Well, I did.

Of the entire Buddy Rich book this Bob Mintzer chart is my favorite. I was fortunate enough to have been able to see Buddy and his band play this a few times in the 80s. The trumpet solo, backed by the trombones, blew our heads off. It’s something you could only experience live.
