Smoldering live blues rock cover of "I Put a Spell on You" by Samantha Fish. "Samantha Fish (born January 30, 1989) is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter from Kansas City, Missouri. While often cited as a blues artist, Fish's work features and draws from multiple genres, including rock, country, funk, bluegrass, and ballads." Wikipedia #bluesrock#musicwomenwednesday
I already posted this performance a year ago, but @loewe's #MusicWomenWednesday is a great reason to repost it: Hannah Wicklund & The Steppin Stones on Audiotree Live (Full Session) 🥰
"Ganz spontan: Will jemand heute Abend um 20 Uhr zu einem #Graveyard-Konzert ins Turock in #Essen? Kann krankheitsbedingt leider nicht hin. 🤧 Karte ist in #Bielefeld, ein Freund könnte sie aber wohl mit Essen bringen. Gern boosten!

Good morning all. Starting my day in the office with sibling blues-rock duo Jocelyn and Chris Arndt's third studio album 'The Fun in the Fight' (2019) 🤩
Scurrying back to 2022 with Blues Enthused reviews - and today Albert Castiglia, with his album I Got Love: bit.ly/3u9RmmF "Wickedly ragged glory!" 🎸😎 #bluesmusic#bluesrock#rocknroll#guitar#music
The 19-y-o in our home was singing "Wishing Well" as he made his way into yesterday morning, and the Brain DJ has another cut from the same release today –
Mana Blues by Grant Haua. I really liked Swamp Thing, the garage blues band that Grant Haua and drummer Michael Barker had founded and released three albums for. I knew they'd broken up, but not that Grant Haua was pursuing a solo carreer. I stumbled upon this album (apparently produced by French label Dixiefrog) and thought I'd give it a shot. Unfortunately, what I found was much more mainstream than the gritty music Grant and Michael produced. It's not bad, but it sounds like the same old same old blues rock I've heard a zillion times. Undoubtedly done with love, but lacking in identity, with the exception of the first track and its Maori intro. I wish more of the album had been along that vein... #music#bluesrock#kiwi
