Love: Rod Stewart - Have I Told You Lately
He might be corny AF, but a lot of “love” songs read as obsession songs to me, come across a little (or more than a little) creepy. There’s a reason that Sting song from the perspective of a stalker gets mistaken for a love song to this day. By contrast, this one always felt real, felt genuinely sweet in a way.
