I'm a big Surfers fan from way back, was talking to @wendigo about em & remembered wifey recently bought me this book that came out a couple years back, 'What Does Regret Mean?' The book's great, it details a lot of their early shows, and has some cool art.
On the right is a reprint of an early zine they made that came with the book. That's the back, because the cover is GROSS (as are its contents). It consists of crude black & white collage art on some colored pages from a mix of sources, including nasty medical things. 😂
@wendigo oh wow haha. My dad was born in TN, my folks love FL. They met & married there. Still live there. I lived there a few years, moved to GA, then MD where I grew up, back to FL, to NY, FL, NH, FL, and now AZ. It's nuts, man hahaha
@TomSwirly@cory whoaa awesome, thank you for this! I used to be super active on their site's forum. Met some great folks in there. BHS fans are the best hahaha
@wendigo@tangleofwires Styx! Heheh. I do love J Geils. Freeze Frame and Centerfold are still two of the coolest songs ever written. They're in my mp3 collection and are often played loud in this house. 😀
The complete session recorded by the Butthole Surfers on 20 September 1988 for the John Peel show on BBC Radio 1 and broadcast on the 27th of that month.
Nabod un ffrâm o'r ffilm fer hon ers rhyddhau EVOL #SonicYouth yn yr un flwyddyn, ond erioed wedi gweld y ffilm ei hunan. Lydia Lunch, Lung Leg, a rhywun sydd yr un sbit â Richie Manics. Trac sain gan y #ButtholeSurfers. Mae popeth yn edrych ac yn swnio mor ffres mae’n anodd credu taw dyma'r ffilm wreiddiol fel yr oedd hi
