Yopu know, I love how some of the bugs in Diablo just go on and on and on. Some of the oldest bugs in Diablo are still there in the very latest Diablo games.
Like, there's this one bug that I first saw in the original Diablo, and it is still there in Diablo Immortal. You'll be trying to fight some mob, and you swing, and you miss, miss, miss, miss, miss, miss, miss, miss. "Nothing there to hit," says the game. Or "You can't hit that." (It doesn't tell you its rationale for why you can't hit that mob, you just keep missing and missing and missing.)
In desperation, you try some AOE attack, and it works.
"Oh, THAT monster," says the game. "Well why didn't you SAY so?!?" And from then on, you can hit it.
I have a soft spot for #Diablo 1 and 2, in part because I love the vibes of those games. I feel like they did an excellent job of just setting up the atmosphere.
I wasn't going to care about 3 or 4 regardless, but that's one of those things that I felt got lost as time went on.
Ok so I was late to the game but just finished Diablo 4 main campaign and it was…weak 🫠 not a bad game, but so many missed opportunities. I’ve played the franchise since the beginning and to waste Lilith and Inarius on this storyline is so disappointing 😭 #diablovi#diablo4#diablo#game#videogame
Been a while since I've played Diablo III, but they're doing this Darkening of Tristram event the rest of January that they've done every January since 2017. I haven't done it before, and it's rad. Makes the graphics of III look like the original Diablo, you go back to Old Tristram via the Old Ruins waypoint. So cool.

There's a bunch of new Diablo IV figures from McFarlane Toys that are up for preorder, ones for the character classes that are kinda just okay (I wish they'd do ones for D1 and D2) but this 1:12 scale Blood Bishop figure is RIDICULOUS

I finally managed to understand how to manipulate the waves but by gosh I just can't move fast enough to get out of the way of the waves And I when I can the second phase - the platform red bubble stuff just one shots me. argh
Heute gibt es über den Tag verteilt meine Games of the Year. Wobei das keine Auszeichnung ist, sondern lediglich die Spiele sind, die ich dieses Jahr durchgespielt (oder zuende gespielt) habe. In Vorbereitung auf Diablo 4 habe ich kurzerhand den 2. Teil noch einmal gespielt. Das Prinzip, Monster zu töten und zu looten ist einfach, aber kein anderes Spiel hat es meiner Meinung nach so gut umgesetzt. Da fällt nicht mal auf, dass die Story sehr dünn ist. Die Grafik ist beim Remake sehr schön gelungen und man kann jederzeit zwischen alt und neu wechseln. Möglicherweise bewerte ich das Spiel so hoch, weil ich damit Erinnerungen verbinde.
