I managed to get my season 2 Diablo IV character to level 100 last night.
Seems Blizzard also changed the Living Steel drop amounts from chests yesterday. So every chest in Hell Tide now drops 1 Living Steel and the Living Steel chests drop 5 instead of 3. Super nice change.
Now I need to focus more on getting better gear and really making my build all it can be.
I've been having such a super fun time in Diablo IV Season 2 so far.
Pre-season I only got my character to level 84, which was a GRIND! Season 1 I only played just a little and got my character to level 33. Season 2 I'm currently at 97 1/2 and hoping to get to 100 tonight or tomorrow if all goes as planned.
Are you playing Diablo IV currently and if so, how are you enjoying it?
Trying the Necromancer Blood Lance Build now. Took me some time to get used to the mechanics and get the right aspects but it seems to be very promising
Grabbed this video from Diablo IV last night that's pretty cool. I'm always taking screenshots & videos as I'm playing, and my Series X used to send screenshots & videos straight to Twitter. But now I gotta download em to my phone from the Xbox app & edit the videos, too (because this instance only allows 100MB videos and smaller, not sure if that's standard or what). But still.
I dig scorpions and these giant ones are rad. And so is the bridge - the graphics in IV are wild. Check some of the rogue's abilities and whatnot too. Might try druid next.
Eventually I'll probably write a blog post about Diablo IV. It's a fun, beautiful game. There are great things to say about it. It's better than III. It might even be as good as II. And it has strong vibes of the original. But it SUCKS you have to be logged in online to Battle.net to play it. Being required to be logged in online to play a game ALWAYS sucks, and it always will. See attached screenshot.
I've had the game glitch a lot lately. In the middle of battle. Died several times because of that yesterday. And today, it glitched, crashed, and I wasn't able to get back in for a bit. Again. Dumb.
But when it works, Diablo IV is a fantastic game. Beyond fantastic, really. It's epic.
And I'm not one of those hardcore players who blasts through, obsessively leveling up, though. Never will be. I've loved the Diablo franchise since the first one. (although III was just meh for me). Also, I will NEVER pay for add ons or microtransactions (in any game). It's just not me.
In Diablo games, I like to just poke around, do some quests, and I like that if it gets too frustrating, you can just portal somewhere else. The exploration is rad. Found some killer loot. My rogue Hukk is up to level 38 now. Eventually I wanna check out some other classes. Maybe a druid. Heard a new class is coming, too...
