The House is sitting until midnight tonight and tomorrow, and it's not even June yet.

It will suck to do this for six more weeks and not get the summer off like the other translators (I'll get a few extra days). Going back will suck until we figure out a way to bring me over permanently.

It's mental health week at the government!

It's important to know that almost every decision made, and especially the ones made to save money, are made to the detriment of public servants' mental health.

Return to the office, using (bad) contractors, etc., etc.

@Auxonic Yep. Our last one was absolutely dreadful. So bad that they had meetings with every team. Since then? Nothing. Nothing at all. Except telling us that the quotas will be going up, and we'll be letting clients use automatic translations (that we'll have to revise).

Our big trees have been adopted by Capital forest!! The woman was ecstatic, said they were beautiful trees. And she'll send us the exact spot later so we can go and visit them!! Making Ottawa greener 😍

Our weeping larch is definitely happy. The difference in one week is astonishing. I'm glad I chose it! It's a deciduous conifer, which is so cool!
