Tonight we’ll have a listen to the work of Phill Niblock, minimalist pioneer, who left this plane on January 8.
Put your headphones on,or sit yourself in front of a nice hifi.
Dim your screens, relax, and tune in to My Electric, at CJTR.ca/live. The Radioplayer Live app is another great way to listen.
Here's a new release for Bandcamp Friday. This is a new recording of the piece I premiered at New England Synth Fest 2023. Pay what you like (if anything) for now. It's called Mesektet.
Here's a youtube playlist of experimental music I put together for Culture As A Dare - 90 minutes of turntablism, mechanical music, sound art, noise music, improvisation, live coding, video synthesis, and even a proper song. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBG2AvIDYQ1DVLDz3FYgjT4vGJjLm-MvN
#DroneDay is tommorow. Starting around now and until the end of day Sunday (CEST), I'll be broadcasting #drone and drone related #music, some created over the last few months and at other times live.
I recommend imbibing tea and any other hallucinogenic beverage you can think of whilst listening.
I noticed yesterday that I have "accidentally" collected an album's worth of material, and more, during the past couple of years of COVID isolation and its aftermath, so I decide to collect the best of those as a new album. Really happy with this one, personally I feel like this might be my strongest and most coherent album to date. Hope you enjoy. https://viiri.bandcamp.com/album/synth-works-iv
