Okay, #Godzilla fans... should you wait to watch #GodzillaxKong until AFTER S02 of #MonarchLegacy comes out? People tell me I need to see Monarch: Legacy of Monsters first, but should I wait to see Godzilla x Kong till after?

I saw #GodzillaXKongTheNewEmpire last night, and I definitely had mixed feelings about it, especially given how much I love Godzilla Minus One. Late into the movie, I had a thought-shift in understanding that they're very different things. Godzilla Minus One is very much more of a psychological film delving into the trauma of having been on the receiving end of nuclear bombs. #Godzilla#KingKong#GodzillaXKong /1

Today (March 2) in 1933, the original King Kong premiered in theaters.
That's over NINE decades of the KING! And he's more popular now than ever. There was recently an animated series, a video game, a new comic series is coming out, another TV series is on the way, there's the toys, and of course Godzilla x Kong premieres at the end of this month.

Boy I thought Boston had it bad in KoTM but at least they had evacuated the city in that movie. Hong Kong is pretty much leveled in GvsK, holy crap.
Craaaaazy end battle that was just amazing. Totally glossed over the tens of thousands of people that surely died under smashed buildings but… oh well? 🤷♂️
Now I guess I wait for the new installment of #GodzillaXKong coming in 2024. These pictures were pretty fun and gave me what the Monarch TV show is lacking. Recommended for mindless popcorn fun.
