My toot about kisses in Kdramas made me look up the (first) kiss scene in It’s Okay to Not Be Okay and now I want to rewatch that whole drama again. It’s so damn good, easily one of my favourite. (And I’ve already watched it three times!) #kdrama
For the 1st time, I am seriously considering fast-forwarding through a drama during a 1st watch.
The FL's character in "Don't Dare to Dream" / "Jealousy Incarnate" is so awful (thru eps 13 / 24) that I can't stand when she's on the screen - how can a person be so clueless?
It is so bad that it was going to be the 1st drama that I drop. But I went & read reviews & so many people loved it that I think I'm going to resort to fast-forwarding.
I've seen this actress in "When the Camellia Blooms" & in "It's Okay That's Love" & although she grew on me a bit in the last one, I didn't particularly love her in either - she picks annoying characters (or makes them that way).
It's s funny.
In the first two episodes , there is no straight plan for revenge. But opportunities are created and she uses them.
Gong Min- Jung in a similar role like in Hometown Cha Cha Cha. As the witty colleague here , or the bright assistant in HCC
January was a dry TV season, at least for me. But I have a never-ending "plan to watch" list. In this ep, I talk about #KDramas: Vigilante, Perfect Marriage Revenge & Death's Game
and #CDramas: Draw the Line, #ThreeBody & more
Can anyone recommend a fairly light hearted #kdrama ? With not too many long drawn out smouldering looks, or I might fall asleep. #DoctorRomantic was really good but a lot more political and gory than I was expecting from the title. I was either seething with anger or covering my eyes through most of it.
I feel like I need to watch #Sense8 again just so I can feel good about some and avoid all the bad news seem to see everywhere. Who knows? Maybe after I finish watching #Vincenzo. If I don’t get bored.
I feel like my #KDrama obsession is just beginning.
One year late, but I finally watched the kdrama Reborn Rich.
I didn't watch it at first because I've seen negative reviews of disappointing ending, but it's better than I expected. I think the ending is pretty good.
Some parts are confusing, overly exaggerated and dramatic, but well it's a Kdrama 🤷♀️
To appreciate the show, you need to have an open mind, and not take the story too literally.
As Hyun Woo said: it wasn't a reincarnation/time travel, but a chance to repent.
When you realise that you watched your first #KDrama 20 years ago.
TWENTY FREAKING YEARS AGO.
Oh btw, if you've not seen this you gotta. (You can watch the episodes on Youtube.)
Fine, it's like the most makjang thing ever, but this was what made #KDramas delicious k? If you want to know what "classic" halyu-wave Kdrama is like, this is a good intro.
I've recently finished up several so my list feels like it's getting manageable.
