#Mondog from a year ago today. Drake, at our Sweetwater Creek State Park in GA, USA, decided to appear and say hello today. I hope you're having a sunny spring day up there, baby.
So, we're thinking of adopting this little Terrier-X (a ChiRussell) from rescue, whom we've tentatively named Moo-Moo. #Mondog#Mondogs#Dog#dogsofmastodon
For those of you who sometimes post on #DogsOfMastodon and #DogsOfFediverse and think that maybe they shouldn't bother because you don't see many people interacting with it, think again! They might not interact with your posts but they definitely see them!
I'm missing good metrics for Mastodon so I get them however I can, which includes links. When I post an Amazon link, I can see how many of you clicked on it (click away, I get no money from clicks). 1/2
From my (very limited) data, for every 25 interactions on a post with a link, I get 1500 clicks on the link. That's a lot of people! So yes, perhaps you don't see many people interacting with your posts but keep posting! Post when you're happy! Post when you're sad! They might be quiet about it but somebody sees your dog and it makes their day!
Edit: actually appropriate for #Mondog as well 2/2
