This week's donation went to the OpenAndroidInstaller project. It allows for easy install of various deGoogled Android operating systems to mobile phones. For instance on my Pixel 2 it was as simple as a dozen or so mouse clicks and downloading two files to get Android replaced by LineageOS. There weas no use of a temrinal required for the install and this will really help non tech saavy people get free of Android as well as save time for those who are tech saavy. There are over 60 devices supported at this time. The project code is licensed using GPLv3.0.

Noch einmal, damit es keine Verwirrung gibt. Ich verteufle nicht. Die Zielgruppe ist aus meiner Sicht aber: "Letztlich richtet sich LineageOS in erster Linie an Nutzer, die ihre älteren Geräte weiterhin nutzen möchten, da sie möglicherweise nicht mehr vom Hersteller mit den neuesten Android-Versionen und Sicherheitsupdates versorgt werden."

Ansonsten gibt es da draußen Custom-ROMs, die datenschutzfrendlicher und sicherer sind. Gerade für aktuelle Geräte.
