Hello! I'm part of a local group of filmmakers working on improving our skills together.
🏛️ We are looking for interesting or unusual filming locations. Businesses, outdoor spaces, restaurants, homes, etc. In exchange, we can take professional photos, include you in marketing, buy from your business, etc.
If you wouldn't mind a small film crew coming into your space for a day, say hello! 👇

The stern yankee woman who taught me to use the #OxfordComma referred to it simply as "a comma" an omitting it simply as "an error."
Calling it '#Oxford' makes it seem as if one is using 'u' whilst mis-spelling 'flavour' or 'colour', assuming it's ye olde country to which the name refers—the town #Blackwood calls "the stronghold of ancient customs and ancient opinion."
I assume it will eventually become a speech-crime; but I will give it up when, They, pry, it, from, my, cold, dead hand.
'Only five per cent of the responses to a petition calling for a review into the Low Traffic Neighbourhood scheme (LTNs) were from Oxford residents, data shows.'
Today I walked a round trip of 13km: up Shotover hill, down into Wheatley for a coffee, up past Wheatley windmill and down into Horspath. I peeked though the windows of the primary school that I last attended a third of a dang century ago, and went back up and over Shotover country park. It was a fantastic hike, made even better by the wood absolutely bursting with bluebells! #Headington#Oxford#Shotover#Wheatley#Horspath#hiking#walking#bluebells#woods#nature#forest
As I've moved over to this lovely Mastodon instance in the past week I thought I’d redo an #introduction post.
I’m Ben, I live near #oxford, and I work in #data#insight#marketresearch#cx roles. Loves music which is FUN, pretty much any kind of books, and late nineties sort of video games.
Joined in April, but only recently got the chance to explore the platform properly. Now that I feel more at home, I thought it was time for a long-overdue #introduction.
Brevity is not my forte, and although Mastodon’s largesse on the character-limit front is greatly appreciated, it looks that I will still need several posts… please bear with me!
Hello everyone! My name is Dionysios. I was born in #Greece but made #England my home: #London, #Cambridge and now #Oxford, where I live with my wife and son.
Started training as an #actor in my teens before I fell in love with #opera. I studied #music and became an #operasinger, but I was eventually won over by #stagedirecting and #academicresearch. Since 2012 I direct operas and teach in higher education.
