👋 We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Berlin or remote! 💻 Build high-quality supply chain tools for thousands of devs in the PHP ecosystem 🐘 with the makers of Composer.
We're a small experienced remote team, deeply caring about our customers and the quality of our product. 🧑🤝🧑 Help us maintain and improve key infrastructure for hundreds of businesses! 🎉
I am seeking speakers for my @phpugffm & @phpugmrn meetups. We prefer in-person presentations in Frankfurt or the Mannheim area, but remote talks are also an option. If you have anything interesting to share with us, let us know. We'd be more than happy to have you! Thx! #php#phpc#phpugffm#phpugmrn
Ballroom starting to fill up for the start of #longhornphp - LET'S DO THIS THING AUSTIN 🤠🤘 yeeeeeehaaaaaaawww (I'm getting into the spirit of things) #phpc
Anyone here on #phpc using #Lemmy? The #php communities there are pretty much dead, which sucks, I was kinda hoping it woule become the Reddit replacement.
Looking for speakers for both my @phpugffm & @phpugmrn meetups for the next months. German or English talks, it doesn't really matter. If you have a topic to share and you can travel to Frankfurt or Mannheim, ping me. #phpc#phpugmrn#phpugffm#communityworks
This survey helps paint a picture of the PHP ecosystem, particularly how it pertains to how and where organizations deploy PHP applications, and the challenges they face in doing so. Each year, Zend donates to orgs that promote diversity in software dev, based on how many survey results we get.
If you want to know what @heiglandreas thinks about having 13 months with exactly 28 days, join the next @phpugmrn meetup at the end of this month to find out.
#phpc developers, sometimes when I run #phpunit I receive 100s of errors (in my integration tests) that might only originate from 2 lines. Is there a way to consolidate these based on stack trace?
🪲 I just released a Docker image specifically crafted for debugging and developing the @php interpreter. A PHP script causes a segfault? You want to develop a PHP extension? This image is for you, it contains all tools you'll need!
Does anyone have a good document or cheatsheet on how to choose the most appropriate base class for an error or exception?
For example, say ExpectedExactlyMatch to be thrown if a query results in more than one match. Is that a runtime exception? Invalid argument? Logic exception? Something else?
