A few leagues back I attempted to create a Shield Crush build on the Chieftain that converted everything to fire damage. Then last league with the advent of transfigured gems... they gave us Shield Crush of the Chieftain that is doing specifically that thing.
This weekend I started leveling yet another Marauder to see if this version works any better than my previous attempt did.
Mageblood is cheap this league, so I set myself the goal of farming one. Bought it today for 105div! #PathOfExile
The most fun part of setting my build up around it was rolling my flasks. For now, I'm using Quartz Granite Silver & Quicksilver with suffixes granting armor, cast speed, life regen, and bleed/corrupted blood immunity. Some of it will definitely change as I continue to upgrade my build.
Morning Folks! I realized this morning that I had not really talked about my "map blaster" of choice for the #PathOfExile Necropolis League. I've made versions of this character several times now but this time around I am utilizing the brand new Elemental Hit of the Spectrum gem with the tanky goodness of a Champion.
Good Morning Folks! Last night I knocked out the Masterful Monsters challenge in #PathOfExile and spent some time this morning talking about focusing on Mapping and Heist to knock out a few more.
I also talk a bit about Maxroll throwing their hat into the Bulk Trading website game and the ramifications of that.
I was not entirely certain I would actually get around to blogging today. Eventually, I discovered the oomph to make something happen. Between yesterday morning and this blog post, I have knocked out three more challenges in #PathOfExile Necropolis League and am nearing a few more.
I talk a bit more about the ones that I feel are realistic for me to complete this league.
Wiedziałem, że #PathOfExile jest bardzo złożoną grą, ale chaosie kochany… kilka godzin poradnika dotyczącego tylko jakie przedmioty należy podnosić a jakie nie? Szkolenie z craftingu? Tysiąc pięćset sto dziewięćset metod optymalizacji, których pominięcie może czasami doprowadzić nawet do niemożliwości przejścia kampanii (która jest tylko prologiem do głównej części gry)? Instalacja zewnętrznego filtra, bo za dużo rzeczy się pojawia na raz w grze?
Podziwiam, ale też czuję że tego typu gry choć fascynujące nie są już dla mnie. Staje się z wiekiem coraz większym casualem 🫣
IMO wymaganie (nie mylić z dopuszczaniem!) od grającego polegania na zewnętrznym oprogramowaniu w samym celu poprawnego brania udziału w rozgrywce to zły design gry.
Morning Folks! Not a massive post today but I talk a bit more about my league progress in #PathOfExile and doing a big craft to clear out all of my old corpses in Necropolis mechanic that wound up with a reasonable item now that I can choose my crafting base.

Morning Folks! This past Friday was the league launch for #PathOfExile#Necropolis and this morning I talked about the good and bad bits. Generally speaking, it is a bad league mechanic but a generally solid sandbox state for the game.
I don't regularly stream but figured I might stream my league start in #PathOfExile. Sitting in the queue currently but will be turning on the stream at about 1:30 CDT or 30 minutes before the league start.

I am really pumped about the Necropolis league that starts tomorrow in #PathOfExile and it has very little to do with the league mechanic. I am extremely interested in the sweeping Atlas and Scarab changes and how I think it will lead to a more varied mapping experience.
Since we are on the cusp of another #PathOfExile League which starts this Friday, I figured it might be time to post this link again. Last year I created a "getting started" post that was largely targeting folks with no POE experience.
Sometimes I get a dumb idea just lodged in my head... and no amount of failure will dislodge it.
Recently... it has been trying to turn #LastEpoch Warpath converted to Fire Damage into something that feels as chill as playing Righteous Fire did in #PathOfExile
This is my third attempt at this, and forced a new character.. but I think I am finally there.
