Morning Folks! It took me a bit to get this pulled together, but I spent some time diving into my latest #PathOfExile build a Fire Conversion Shield Crush Chieftain. It was way more expensive than I would have liked it... which makes me hesitant to recommend it. It has way more uniques than I am generally comfortable with, which creates challenges for hitting resistances.
Morning Folks! It is the last day of #Blaugust2023 and I do my best to set some expectations for how stressful "Tabulation Day" is going to be for me this year. I also talk a bit more about #PathOfExile and also talk a little bit about dipping my toes into #Starfield soon.
Morning Folks! I had a rather expensive day in #PathOfExile as I bankrupted myself to pick up a near perfect Brass Dome and an Elder Pseudo-Six-Link Helm to swap Fire Trap over to my chestpiece. I also picked up my first two void stones, and am enjoying hunting for cities down in Delve.
Good Afternoon Folks! I am a bit late getting this out here... because I maybe took on a monumental task. #PathOfExile is a phenomenal #ARPG but it has a very steep learning curve... which I am attempting to flatten a bit.
Morning Folks! It is #PathOfExile Necropolis League launch day, and I spent some time this morning talking about my plans and some of the early uniques that I am going to try and pick up.
Good Morning Friends! Last night I recorded some footage of playing the Armageddon Brand Scion I have been fiddling with in #PathOfExile. Nothing major, just a quick trip through Blood Aqueducts since I am still leveling. I also spend a bit of time talking about a potential Inquisitor version for 3.22 League Start.
Good Morning Friends! Last night I continued working on my Armageddon Brand Scion in #PathOfExile. I pivoted into Righteous Fire for the spell damage buff and Petrified Blood to run a few more auras. Should wrap up Act 10 tonight and work on proper gearing.
Good Morning Friends! I was a little too out of it to engage with BG3 last night so I continued to work on my Scorching Ray RF Inquisitor in #PathOfExile. Additionally over lunch yesterday I reinstalled #Diablo4 and decided to check out patch 1.1.1 and the seasonal mechanic. It is better than the game was but still sort of in "aggressively fine" territory.
Good Morning Friends! This morning is a bit of an epic post as I review the #PathOfExile Crucible league and discuss seven of the eight builds that I played during this league. Long post... many videos and assorted POBs.
Morning Folks! I finished my Atlas of Worlds last night by cheating a bit and buying the last five unique maps from Trade. I also started a Templar with the goal of giving my Storm Brand Inquisitor from Kalandra a bit of a redemption arc. Finally, I finish up Old Man's War and talk a bit about that.
Good Morning Folks! After yesterday's heavier topic here comes some more #PathOfExile nonsense. This morning I continue to gush about how much I love SRS Guardian and record some gameplay of doing an alch and go T16 map. I also talk about my frustrations with Storm Brand Inquisitor leveling.
Morning Folks! I started a brand new character last night in #PathOfExile as I begin to work on my sixth build of the league. This time I am giving Vaal Absolution Necromancer a spin, and honestly... it's a bit odd.
Morning Folks! This weekend I burned through most of the currency I had built up in this #PathOfExile league and switched my league starter Lighting Arrow Raider over to a Magic Find Crit variant Deadeye. It has been an interesting ride, and I talk a bit about the whole process.
Since we are on the cusp of another #PathOfExile League which starts this Friday, I figured it might be time to post this link again. Last year I created a "getting started" post that was largely targeting folks with no POE experience.
Good Morning Friends. The recent round of teaser trailers for #PathOfExile II have led me to do some speculating about new starter classes or maybe even a proper character creation system. This morning I talk about that and also a bit about the hype building in me for ExileCon coming July 28th.
Good Morning Friends! This morning I talk bout the #PathOfExile trade system. While it is exceedingly cumbersome... I feel like that is a feature of the system to prevent runaway arbitrage.
Morning Folks! This past Friday was the league launch for #PathOfExile#Necropolis and this morning I talked about the good and bad bits. Generally speaking, it is a bad league mechanic but a generally solid sandbox state for the game.
Morning Folks! Not a massive post today but I talk a bit more about my league progress in #PathOfExile and doing a big craft to clear out all of my old corpses in Necropolis mechanic that wound up with a reasonable item now that I can choose my crafting base.
Hey Folks! Yesterday we got some bit #PathOfExile Necropolis league news with buffs incoming to resolve some of the issues with the league. I talk about that as well as my continued progress into the Atlas and Delve.
I was not entirely certain I would actually get around to blogging today. Eventually, I discovered the oomph to make something happen. Between yesterday morning and this blog post, I have knocked out three more challenges in #PathOfExile Necropolis League and am nearing a few more.
I talk a bit more about the ones that I feel are realistic for me to complete this league.
A few leagues back I attempted to create a Shield Crush build on the Chieftain that converted everything to fire damage. Then last league with the advent of transfigured gems... they gave us Shield Crush of the Chieftain that is doing specifically that thing.
This weekend I started leveling yet another Marauder to see if this version works any better than my previous attempt did.
Morning Folks! I realized this morning that I had not really talked about my "map blaster" of choice for the #PathOfExile Necropolis League. I've made versions of this character several times now but this time around I am utilizing the brand new Elemental Hit of the Spectrum gem with the tanky goodness of a Champion.
Yeah so... I am getting scatterbrained lately. I just realized that I did not actually share my morning post.
Basically this morning I talked about wrapping up the final Challenge in #PathOfExile that I planned on going for... my hunt for the Cat Chair in #GW2 that I literally just posted a picture of getting... and my thoughts about the #Diablo4 season start.
