It's both weird and sad to me that some of the easiest phones to degoogle are Google branded phones. Why aren't more mobiles just plain open?! I did like my Pixel2, but I generally flip flop between Android and iOS. It's now time for Android again, and I picked up a nice #thinkphone and am annoyed at how much on here I just can't remove. It'd be nice to just run one of the many choices out there such as #lineageos, #postmarketos , Mobian, or #droidian. I miss #luneos#webos and #sailfishos .

#SailfishOS#Gecko dev diary, day 150! After a two week break for #FOSDEM I'm back to daily-blogging about gecko again. Today, a bit more progress with the sessionHistory.
This last weekend #Jolla and many members of the Sailfish Community were attending #FOSDEM'24 in Brussels. Jolla showed #SailfishOS at the Linux on Mobile stand and organised an evening event with a presentation about Jolla's future direction.
Heading back to the UK from #FOSDEM and what an amazing event once again. The #LinuxOnMobile stand was packed for two days continuous and it was wonderful to talk to so may #SailfishOS users, users of other mobile Linux distros and curious explorers!
Attending #FOSDEM via old laptop repurposed for webdev-device with #alpinelinux on it. Tooting this with #SailfishOS from Finland with a #pinetime on my left wrist. For the breaks I plan to reinstall #postmarketOS or #Mobian to my old oneplus6, doesn't really matter, really just want go try #phosh in action. Damn, linux ftw! What a brilliant thing you have brought to the world @torvalds ! Thank you for your great efforts! In case it was unclear, I'll be attending mobile. :D

For some reason I'm still only being offered version 27 releases of #NextCloud on the stable channel (unlike @ljo) but I'm still happy that the upgrade from 27.1.5 to 27.1.6 went totally smoothly. Great work as ever from the #NextCloud team.
@vwbusguy@flypig@blizzz Fortunately it did not bite me from what I can tell. All ten-ish instances already upgraded in the staged stable upgrade to 28 went smooth. Looking forward to the 28.0.2 next week then. I actually had most complaints about the too old browser continue anyway dialogue. (their browsers certainly were a lot newer than the #SailfishOS gecko ;))
