Also, the idiotic steam turbine thing was a huge turn-off. (Car analogy (sorry): Would you trust a series that shows that car engine cylinders have hatches that can be opened while the engine is running without affecting it?)

Habe mir die erste Folge von #silo auf Apple TV+ angesehen, die man dort kostenlos (in Deutsch) abrufen kann, auch ohne Abo. Eine sehr interessanter Plot. Erinnert mich ein wenig an den Klassiker "Flucht ins 23. Jahrhundert". Steht definitiv auf meiner Liste, wenn ich wieder zum Abo zurückkehre. Dann habe ich schon drei Serien zum Bingen auf meiner Liste. :) Foundation, For all Mankind und Silo. 🚀

As the last episode of #Silo is going to air next week, I just can't imagine having to wait a FULL YEAR to get season 2. Once Season 1 is finished, I will have no choice but to get the books and read the story until the end at my own pace. 📚
#Silo isn't terrible, but the main character has now survived two literally unsurvivable situations (the first, nonsensical), which really drags down the quality.
So far, the hype is just that: Over the top, undeserved praise.
It feels like the geeks and nerds of Fedi (merely descriptive) love it because it is great world building.
The story is uneven, damaged greatly by the unkillable hero trope, like it's some dumb action movie.
6 episodes down, 4 to go. I hope the story gets much better.
Episode 8 of #Silo has a ridiculous escape, near-escape, and another death defying move.
The acting is mostly great (#Commo can not act at all 🤷🏿♂️) but the story insists on making Juliette an action star too often, which weakens an otherwise strong plot.
I'm in for the answers, and I'm prepared to be disappointed and pissed off at being jerked around.
