Schon lange plant der Senat den Bau einer vierspurigen Schnellstraße quer durch die #Wuhlheide - eines der größten zusammenhängenden Waldgebiete im Berliner Osten. Langfristig führt der Neubau von Straßen zu mehr Verkehr, wie zahlreiche Studien belegen. Daher braucht es für den Berliner Osten vor allem mehr nachhaltige Verkehrslösungen und keine #TVO.

@CCitiesOrg@SheDrivesMobility Bei der #TVO habe ich ausnahmsweise als Fußgänger & Radfahrer und Gegner von A100 und Co eine andere Meinung.
Die Trasse verläuft entlang einer bestehenden Schneise (Außenring) durch Nutzwald, dafür soll eine bestehende (und auch sehr gefährliche) Straße aufgelassen/renaturiert und Verkehr umgelenkt werden.
Klar wären deutlich weniger PKW/LKW besser, aber ohne kurzfristige Wunder halte ich die TVO für das kleinere Übel.

If Lecce has met over 170 times with the unions and there's still no deal, its starting to feel like this govt never had any intention of reaching a settlement before school resumes.
Of note: #Ontario's pubic broadcaster #TVO (on strike for the first time ever) is also under the purview of this Minister of Education. #onpoli
