After yesterday's typhoon and torrential rain, the weather cleared up beautifully today. So, spent a few hours down at the first big local festival of the year in our neighbourhood. It's been four years since it happened and the area was abuzz with matsuri fever.
Loads of fun. Great to be out shooting these events again.

An art shop in Ginza that was founded in 1760’s and moved to its current location in 1830’s. Still lovingly maintained by a very nice couple who now do kimonos, sketches on charcoal and ballpoint pen (!) and traditional Japanese prints on face masks (among others)
