Optimization.jl has many options for automatic differentiation, such as AutoZygote() and AutoEnzyme().
They are very useful, but are there any pros and cons for each option?

Dear refs:

If you're gonna call an player less than 2yds short on the TD, you need to save everyone time and just call it a TD.

The invaluable opensource.com site is reborn as opensource.net: https://opensourcewatch.beehiiv.com/p/invaluable-opensourcecom-site-reborn-opensourcenet

cazabon,

@lauren I know you've described it before, but I don't recall the details.

Does "automatically insert a random-semi-related image into a post if it contains no images" only happen in rare circumstances? I don't think I've ever seen a post that had it happen. I definitely haven't seen it happen with any of mine.

Does it only affect use of mobile apps rather than the web client, maybe?

@spreadmastodon we take it as dogma that decentralizing social media is a net positive for the world. but, i wonder: to what end is decentralizing good for?

dumbo,

@austinha @spreadmastodon

SM / power of decentralization diffuses in the context of "community" barriers to access.

Example: NPO's need templates and WYSIWYG equivalence within their TLD web presence ecology. Web site, Ecommerce, Blog, Federtation...

What if: / delivered a Mastodon instance as a adjunct service or plugin to subscribed services. (Seems like they're going in this direction with integration... just guessing.)

Must-watch: John Vervaeke on what developments tell us of the coming key infliction points, where we need to make decisions.

One key point coming very soon is of AI in systems, systems that have needs and take care of themselves.

We may think we don’t want to do that, because when you have that, all the components intellect like ours needs to rise exist

But we might still create sex robots, setting a path for emergence of that.
