We visited the cows at Arana Gulch (Santa Cruz CA) this morning on our 24 mile bike ride. There are four cows grazing which is apparently good for habitat restoration in this city park open space.
Day 106 of #Running recovery break. Today was a 10KM walk at 9:54/km, slower than I'd wanted, but I'll take it. Also had a 6km bike ride for an errand.
@WTL Based on your comment that Ottawa has 800km of paths, I was curious. I found at https://ottawa.ca an impressive amount of info on the Ottawa paths. The paths along both sides of the Ottawa River must also be really nice. You are fortunate.
I know that you know this, but I'm including a link to the Ottawa and Gatineau path map for other's that may see our exchange and are interested in bike vacation options.
As a commuter and urban cyclist who engages in social media of the the breeds of commenter you will often find is the bad faith protector of pedestrians.
You get hit by someone turning right on red. They say "am I right, you were in the crosswalk that is for pedestrians?"
First, that doesn't matter since the driver is required to give way to anything in the crosswalk regardless.
Second, There are literally hundreds of crosswalks in my area (greater Seattle) that are bike crossings. This is not unique to Seattle.
