Bicycles are incredibly efficient. But velomobiles take it to another level. The rider of this velo just did 400km in 16 hours and 15 minutes. Am impressive feat.

On September 13, 2023, the administration announced that Camillien-Houde Road, one of only two roads providing access to , would be closed to motorists as of 2027.

Fellow over-60 , I have some good news for us/you:

Research at Birmingham & Kings universities indicates that 'keen' older cyclists, who cycle up to 60 miles a week do not suffer the loss of muscle & bone mass effecting healthy but non-exercising people of the same age.

From which we can conclude that is a good way of slowing down the process.

And of course it keep you fit too...

Bike commute story:

On my way back home tonight, a car was parked in the cycle lane. I rang my bell as I passed it and saw a lady on her phone sitting in the driver seat.
I said "This is a bike lane, you can't park here"
She ignored me.
I stopped in front of her car and took my phone out, snapped a picture of her car.
She immediately drove away.
I did too.
3 minutes later she appeared next to me, slowed down to my speed and yelled "why did you take my photo?"
