Been a while since I've played Diablo III, but they're doing this Darkening of Tristram event the rest of January that they've done every January since 2017. I haven't done it before, and it's rad. Makes the graphics of III look like the original Diablo, you go back to Old Tristram via the Old Ruins waypoint. So cool.
This was my banner in #Diablo3 it was so weird and wrong that I loved it loads! I always try to make something like this when I play the game (either on PC or on Playstation).
@SJohnRoss unfortunately, rest seems to be a not-very-attainable goal for me at the moment. 🥺 (I took a steroid medication at 11pm not realizing it would make me feel wired less than 30 minutes later.)
But to answer your question: I enjoy #dnd5e#catan#Diablo3 and probably more that I can't think of right now. I'm also a sucker for historically-based games.
Morning Folks! This weekend I got sucked back into #Diablo3 and I have to say... Vision of Enmity Rifts are freaking awesome. This season is a bit of a last hurrah for that team, and it feels like they pulled out all the stops to make a fun repeatable seasonal mechanic.
I have the slight feeling that when your Necromancer beats the end bosses in every Act in a couple of seconds, the character is somewhat overpowered.
Then again, I have never played seasonal characters before up till now.
Good Morning Friends! Getting a bit of a later start today because life has been sorta crazy. There is a lot of drama happening right now in the fledgling #Diablo4 community surrounding seasonal characters. Since this is a foreign concept to folks outside of the Core #ARPG demographic, I spend some time defining the genre and how seasons have traditionally worked.
You know, tonight was fun. Playing #Diablo4 at launch, interacting with the community, and chatting with friends made me flashback to #Diablo3. It was great until someone mentioned that was 11 years ago, and now my bones are quickly turning to dust...
Trying something new this year to help beat the backlog. So this will be a thread of all the games i finish this year accompanied by a mini review of sorts :gamepad: #Gaming
