Do you want to schedule your posts on Mastodon so that you write them now and they are automatically published later?
Some third party apps including Tusky and Fedilab have a built-in scheduling option. Fedilab also runs a website at https://plan.fedilab.app which lets you schedule posts.
If you want a professional scheduled post management system, there are third party commercial services such as https://publer.io and https://buffer.com that now include Mastodon compatibility.
@feditips also @megalodon for android, which I find excellent.
(I use it to reach audiences in different time zones, so they don't miss my posts).
(Also, for insomniac posts, when my followers are soundly sleeping 😁)
I’ve scheduled my next newsletter, “I’m Not A Complete Idiot,” for Wednesday morning. If you’d like, sign up at http://idiacomputing.com/newsletter/ and I’ll send you a copy.
💯: We need testable theories about the brain to move forward. Every theory starts as a proto-theory (and that's fine). But when theories are not even wrong https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Not_even_wrong
we must acknowledge that.
Especially when the stakes are as high as they are here, with big ethical implications (eg for organoids and coma patients, as the authors describe).
I know some people have issues with things written with #ChatGPT, but it's helped me a lot. I am #dyslexic, have difficulty writing (especially longer content), and have difficulty putting complex ideas in an easy-to-understand way that flows. ChatGPT has helped me write a lot faster and better.
An idea for a Mastodon - an #accessibility feature for #dyslexic peeps, who find the Post button to be a thinly veiled masking device for ‘Hide all Mistakes’.
Toot Buddy: Instead of pressing Post and sending your malformed, error strewn riddle into space, you tap ‘Buddy Correct’. The post gets sent to your drafts AND to chosen mate, who spots all the clangers and hits ‘comprehensible’. You get an alert and hit ‘Post’.
(Wipes sweaty brow, turns away from investors and stumbles into lift. )
