@w7voa The real story is that Musk is an imbecile who hired the guy who smeared Steve Jobs by making him look like a delusional jerk in his biography, despite the people who knew Jobs denouncing the book.
Every story I’ve seen about the new Musk biography makes him look even more delusional, unlikable, and stupid. Lots of a-hole “entrepreneurs” modeled themselves after how Isaacson portrayed Jobs, but only Musk was dumb enough to want the full treatment and get totally exposed.

@w7voa How much more villainy does Musk need to do before our government and other world leaders take note, he’s actively helping Russia, seems Elon is fine with those who commit war crimes against innocent Ukrainians.
@w7voa This clearly shows that the US military should take control of the satellites. Musk has neither authority nor clearance to do this kind of work and to decide what happens in a war.

@w7voa That was reported on when it happened. The only "news" is that he admits he was doing it to harm Ukraine rather than prevent the equipment from being used by Russia.
But it was pretty clear even then that it was a lie.

If he was taking a principled stand for non-violence, that would be one thing. I would disagree but I would sympathize. This sounds like he's just running away from the responsibility of the power he created.
Sabotaging efforts to resist authoritarian rule is no different than actively supporting the authoritarian.
@w7voa Didn't I read that the US military was paying for Starlink communication services for the Ukrainian military? Isn't that breach of contract or something? Kindof seems like the US should take legal action against the man or the company or something.
